Temitope

Dear all, The most fun season is here - Summer! My name is Temitope, a previous Year 6 but current Year 4 English and Class teacher who genuinely loves children, and It's nice to make your acquaintance. Each academic year, new pupils walk into my classroom with various expectations,but soon enough we bond and become best of friends.They all claim that I am the most fun teacher they have ever met which is actually a fact! That being said, I do not forget that I am their teacher who is there to patiently guide, assist,encourage and celebrate them whenever the need arise. It is also important to note that in situations where mistakes are made which is the nature of children(humans), correction is made in love. As educators(teachers), we don't just teach - we provide educare which means teach,but care for your learners as well. I strongly believe in the saying that no child should be left behind in the learning process. Why? This is because every child has the ability to learn and become the best versions of themselves regardless of whatever learning needs might be at play at the moment. My classes are highly interactive, exciting and eye-openers because I bring lessons to life using various techniques with age appropriate curriculum. What are my qualifications you might want to ask? I'll definitely share them. I acquired my first degree in Adult Education from the University of Lagos and will be returning to the same university for my Masters degree programme after spending over a decade in the classroom teaching English Language! In addition, I have taken a bookshelf of courses centred around Literacy with the British Council, as well as Cambridge, where my focus was primarily on Teaching English as a First Language. I am currently running another programme with The National Open University in the Guidance and Counselling Department. Ooops! My ink is running out and the stationery store does not open today.
