I'm a professional online English tutor with over 9 years of teaching experience.

Hello, I’m Steven from U.S Currently residing in Turkey. I'm an experienced ESL tutor currently working in Turkey. My personal ESL teaching philosophy is influenced by my academic background and experience. I provide an enabling environment for rigorous thinking opportunities and challenge students to be their very best, even if it’s difficult. For me, teaching is a lot like coaching a sport( depending on the level). I do my very best to enhance students' skills in diverse domains like grammar, business English, job interviews, IELTS Preparations and more I want to help the students learn the drills and practice the skills that make up a great academic mind so that eventually they will no longer need me to be able to learn. I encourage a learner centered technic which gives more opportunity to the student to speak more. I do my very best to motivate and instill self confidence especially to beginners. I equally provide a space for error correction and peer feedback.. In this way, I hope to build resilient learners.
