About me

Hello! I am Silvia and I am a certified teacher of English as a Second Language and Italian tutor. I have a degree in International Studies from the University of Florence (Italy) and a Master's degree in International Relations from Waseda University (Tokyo, Japan). I have almost 10 years of experience in tutoring both languages to students of all ages and nationalities, both in-person and online, with emphasis on conversational and business levels. My aim as a teacher is to let students feel comfortable along our learning journey together, so that they can gain confidence in their language and communication skills. I do this by delivering engaging lessons that are tailored to the student's needs, while building rapport over time to achieve their initial and learning objectives...and beyond!
