Hello! I'm Krystal and I am a language tutor, substitute teacher & pet momma. I have many years of experience working with students of various ages, but I have the most experience working with PreK-12th grade. Since I was in elementary school, I have wanted to be a teacher. I have always liked helping people and do it because I care. I have mostly tutored for English [ESL included] and Spanish. I have covered different areas of language study including grammar, reading comprehension, analyzing short stories and poetry, and improving writing/ writing essays etc.
I choose my sources or materials for your lesson based on your needs, interests, goals, and motivations. Examples of these sources that get implemented into lesson plans include visuals /art, charts, annotations/ notes, audio/ music, and riddles. I like to change up the modalities that help you learn. It is nice to switch up activities to keep you engaged and learning in different ways. I also teach grammar through exercises and by using many examples, visuals, and notes, so exercises are also an option, but not the only option.
Every lesson takes YOU into consideration, but I also incorporate or suggest things I personally find interesting if I think it would be helpful to you and if it relates to the areas you would like to focus on.
I help students to improve in different abilities needed for language arts. It is important to practice in all areas-- reading, writing, listening and speaking. I try to keep things meaningful, engaging, relevant, and educational for you! (:
About Me: I love animals, music, traveling, and learning about languages, countries, and cultures. I've been fortunate enough to have participated in many sports & different activities ( such as music lessons) growing up. I am also happy to be able to meet people from all over the world. I did my BA degree in English, my minor in Spanish, and a teaching credential program here in my home state of California in the U.S.

Yes, you can cancel booking up to 8 hours before the lesson starts, indicating the reason for the cancellation. We will study each case personally to carry out the refund.
Can I modify a booking?
Yes, something unexpected can always happen, so you can change the time or day of the lesson. You can do it from your personal area in "Scheduled lessons" through the option "Change date".
Where are the lessons held?

How do I pay for the lesson?
At the time you select a lesson or package of hours, you will make the payment through our virtual payment service. You have two options: - Debit / Credit - Paypal Once the payment is settled, we'll send you an e-mail with the booking confirmation.
