Hi everyone! My name is Katie, and I’m a friendly, enthusiastic and TEFL-qualified English teacher from London, England. I’m passionate about helping students become more confident in speaking, reading and writing English. I understand that learning a new language can sometimes feel challenging, so I create a relaxed and supportive classroom where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and expressing themselves. My lessons are fun, interactive and personalised to each student's level, interests and goals. Rather than simply memorising grammar and vocabulary, I encourage students to use English in real-life conversations through games, discussions, stories and engaging activities. I also have experience supporting children's literacy development and was responsible for teaching phonics as a literacy lead. This has given me valuable experience helping young learners develop their language skills step by step. I organise my lessons around a clear learning goal and always make time at the end to review what we have learned. I want every student to finish their lesson feeling proud of their progress and excited to continue learning. Whether you want to improve your conversation skills, grammar, pronunciation, reading or writing, I’m here to help! I can’t wait to meet you and start learning together!
