About me

SIT-TESOL Certified teacher with over 10 years of teaching and tutoring experience.

My name is Diomedes De La Rosa. I was born on an island in the Caribbean that is called Santo Domingo. When I was only eighteen years old I realized that teaching was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. At university I studied Education in languages and I also got certified as an SIT-TESOL teacher. In fact, I have been teaching both English and Spanish for over twenty years now. During that time I have taught at public and private schools, language institutes as well as a university. For about six years I have been teaching online. Teaching online has been one of the most enriching experiences during my career. For example, on a normal work day for me, I get up early as usual. After my normal exercise routine and my morning shower, I connect with one of my students in London. Once I have finished with that one, I just need about thirty seconds to be connect with my next student in Quebec, Canada. That is wonderful!
