Hi, my name is Mihai Constantin, a student at Vivarium Novum (near Rome) and in the second year of a master's degree in Classical and Christian Letters (Salesian Pontifical University). I have been fluent in Ancient Greek and Latin for three years, and have three years of experience as a teacher of Latin and Ancient Greek, with an emphasis on conversation in these two languages and reading classical authors. I like to organize lessons based on each student's learning goals, and I will be happy to help you reach whatever goals you set for yourself with your Latin and Greek! You will be able to read difficult authors in record time with the help of interactive teaching methods. Immersion will be total in both Greek and Latin. If you are a beginner in the living practice of these languages, we will use the Orberg (Familia Romana) method for Latin that allows you to master essential grammar and a thousand basic words in about thirty chapters, organized like a novel. As for the Greek language, we can use any textbook. Preferably Athenaze, Polis, Hermaion, and Alexandros. If you already know them, we can also read directly the classical authors, the one you have always dreamed of understanding in its mother tongue 🙂 I assure you that you will easily be able to read the authors that your teachers cannot translate, even with the help of the dictionary.
