About me

Hi! I'm an American, mother-tongue English teacher, with 3 years of ESL experience.

Hi, I’m Angela! I’m an American, mother-tongue English speaker, from the state of Vermont. I'm fully-certified with many years experience teaching both children and adults, online and in classrooms (in Vermont, New York City, Los Angeles, Firenze, and Palermo) My teaching style is patient and kind and our classes together will be in a fun, interactive atmosphere. All of my classes include reading, listening, and writing but I prioritize student talk time, so my students retain English better and do better than average on tests. Together we'll meet your English goals, whether those be making public presentations, test preparation, or learning the ABCs. I offer English for school or university, exam preparation, Medical English for university, and English to live or work abroad, and I have created games for all of my students. I provide all the educational materials so you don't need to purchase anything extra. Finally, I am a student of the Italian language, so I know what it's like to learn a second language :)
