About me

Hello! My name is Yulia. I have 7 years of experience working as a teacher. I have worked with both children and adults. I consider myself a unique teacher since I am also a licensed psychologist and can better understand my students' problems and difficulties. Over the years, I have created my own method—Learning by Doing. What does this mean? We study by doing. We watch videos, listen to podcasts, do role-playing, and practice problems you might encounter every day. I fully understand the frustration and lack of confidence my students experience after trying so hard with English and still not being able to fully understand English people or hold a fluent conversation with a native speaker. My experience shaped me and helped me become a better teacher, to create my own method, and to avoid having an accent in either English or Spanish. Now I know: if I could do it, you can too.
