Hi! My name is Tom Dore and I am an American English teacher. I played basketball for the University of Missouri where I received my degree in Education. My professional career included being a television commentator for the NBA where I enjoyed meeting most of the big stars in the league. I have four years of experience working with a variety of individuals including business professionals with an emphasis on business English for the professional working with English speakers and with children who love sports and my focus and background helps spark their interest in learning English. No matter your level of English comprehension, I can help you sound like an American, and understand Americans when we talk. For really advanced learners, I can help you think in English, so you won't have to translate English to your native language when we talk, and then translate back to English. This is a very big advantage in any business when you're working in English.
