Hello! I am Sylvia Beeton, a teacher of English as an additional language, I have a degree in Psychology from the University of Reading, a PGCE from Oxford Brookes, and a TEFL. I have over 25 years of experience teaching EAL alongside mainstream English face-to-face, and over 5 years of online classes to complete beginners up to advanced learners. I emphasize understanding and being understood before moving on to more academic skills. I believe that both go hand in hand. My classes are organised around the needs of the students in order to get quick results for them and learning is constantly reinforced.
