About me

Hello! I'm Sofía, an English teacher with a degree in English Philology from the Jaume I University and a Master's degree in English Literature from the University of Liverpool. I also hold a Master's degree in Teaching and Acquisition of the English Language in Multilingual Contexts and a Master's degree in Secondary Education from the Jaume I University. I have also obtained the CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certificate. I have been teaching mainly adults at different Official Language Schools in the Valencian Community for four years. My classes are designed to make you feel comfortable from day one: we work with real-life examples, practical activities, and a clear focus on conversation. No matter your level or how long you have been putting off learning English, with me you will progress step by step, with patience, motivation, and visible results. It's never too late to learn; your future self speaks English.
