(Please note: I do not teach children and I do not teach general English conversation). Hi there! My name is Sion (pronounced 'Shorn') and I'm a native English speaker from the UK. I spent many years working in the media and advertising in several countries and eventually settled in Thailand, where I teach English to a variety of people from school and college students, to senior businesspeople. I specialise in teaching ambitious business professionals and students about how to communicate effectively in their business and study. I spent 25 years working in the media - from newspapers to TV, then the Internet and Social Media, and I'm now beginning to work with AI like Chat GPT. In all of that time and technological change, concise and clear English usage has always been a powerful advantage. My teaching style is easygoing and conversational but with a clear direction. I use my extensive media experience to teach you to communicate clearly and to break down complex subjects into clear concepts. I work with you to establish what your goals are, so we can advance your language goals as quickly and effectively as possible.
