¡Hola! Mi nombre es Simón, tengo 26 años y soy investigador en el campo de la neurociencia. Me gusta mucho viajar y he tenido la suerte de haber vivido en Seoul, Nueva York, Londres, Tokyo y Barcelona, donde vivo actualmente. Comencé a dar clases particulares (tanto de inglés como de refuerzo escolar) a los 15 años. Gracias a mis alumnos pude constatar en primera persona una observación que parece tan evidente que tendemos a olvidar y es que todos aprendemos de forma distinta. Años después pude estudiar las bases moleculares del aprendizaje e investigar cómo se forman las conexiones entre neuronas que conforman nuestros recuerdos, desde la perspectiva de la neurociencia. En este sentido, a día de hoy mucho se ha escrito sobre algo que aun no siempre llega a las aulas y es el hecho de que el cerebro solo aprende si hay emoción. Es por esto que soy partidario de aplicar aproximaciones lo más creativas y personalizadas posibles al aprendizaje y que el alumno, mendiante un rol activo en este proceso, adquiera herramientas que pueda aplicar a futuros retos académicos.
