About me

Improve pronunciation, for business and traveling. I adapt to what your needs!

Hello everybody, My name is Sergio and I am a private Spanish teacher from Barcelona. My mother tongues are Spanish and Catalan, but I have an excellent level of English. I have a degree in Politics from the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona and I have a Master in Fine Arts from the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York. As a Spanish graduate, I have a C1 in both Spanish and Catalan. I also have Cambridge Proficiency and TOEFL certifications in English and DELF B1 in French. I intend for you to be as competent in Spanish as I am in English thanks to the training I received in New York and the tools and methods I have learned in recent years. But I not only teach pronunciation, but also grammar, vocabulary, reading and listening comprehension, and written and oral expression. Despite my hatred for Spanish grammar at school, I found my own way of teaching it. I guess when someone likes what they do, it suddenly becomes easier and a lot more fun. I have experience teaching at different ages and needs, and I adapt the classes to each of my students based on their goals. I usually create a Google Drive where the student and I can keep track of our classes and paste the theory and exercises. I will post a link to a book and a website that I use for Grammar.
