About me

Expert in Business, Conversational and Academic English. Language enthusiast who has been speaking English for over 25 years and teaching it for the past 5. Born in Brazil and raised in the US. Solid Career working for Global Companies his entire life. Holds an MBA from Brazil top 3 Universities. +4 years teaching corporate students and non-corporate. I'd love to tell you I have the magic recipe to help you learn English. I don't have it and I highly doubt whoever is selling you that, is telling the truth. However, I do have lots of experience to tell you the method I've been applying on my classes for the past 5 years has solid results and my students are there to prove it. Fluency is about spontaneity when it comes to speaking, writing and listening. For this, you do not need 1000 words. You need to master their endless uses and applications, the right intonation and rhythm. I am here to make you sound natural and native-like. I'm not here to make you memorize the Cambridge dictionary, quite the opposite, I'm here to surprise you by proving you probably already have enough vocabulary. You just don't know its wide application. For Business English, you can expect real-life vocabulary, sentence structure, grammar usage from someone who has built a career in International Trade and worked for major corporations such as Sumitomo and Cargill trading houses, holding important corporate positions in upper level management. For Academic English, I rely on my years as a postgraduate student and my academic articles to share with you real-life academic knowledge. If you are not looking for business or academic, you are also SUPER welcome. I've been teaching general and conversational English for 5 years along with Business and Academic. If you have never studied English before, don't be shy - you're more than welcome here as well. Last but not least - This is a safe space for everyone to learn and thrive. I have BS. in International Relations, and an MBA in Renewable Energies - both from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, UFRJ. See you soon.
