About me

Hello! I'm Rocío Martínez, an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher with over three years of experience. I specialize in ESL, EFL, TESOL, etc. As an English teaching specialist, my pedagogical approach encompasses various aspects of the English language and culture. In my classes, I pay special attention to phonetics, grammar, reading comprehension, English history and culture, as well as writing. I prepare my students for ALL international English language exams at all levels. Regarding phonetics, I use interactive methods to improve my students' pronunciation and listening comprehension. I teach grammar progressively, employing practical exercises and contextualized examples to reinforce linguistic fundamentals. Reading comprehension is a cornerstone of my classes. I carefully select relevant texts covering a variety of topics, from classical literature to contemporary articles, and foster critical analysis through guided discussions. Additionally, I explore English history and culture to provide my students with a broader perspective of the language. Feel free to contact me!
