Hello, I’m Refilwe and I am from the beautiful South Africa. I’ve been having fun teaching online for four years. I love making a positive global impact through education as well as interacting with people from different cultural backgrounds. I am a Statistician and have extensive professional experience working in the Insurance and Banking sector. I prefer to structure my lessons by aligning them with different textbook and workbook curricula, to ensure a solid foundation. I also find value in enriching the learning experience by supplementing these resources with an array of engaging materials. This includes news articles, short stories, songs, videos, and more, for authentic language use. My classroom are fun, relaxed and very interactive. I concentrate on core aspects such as grammar, speaking, listening, and reading. This approach aims to build well-rounded language proficiency. I also provide avenues for practical application through homework exercises that cover grammar practice, listening comprehension, reading comprehension, writing tasks, vocabulary and sentence structure. We can also practise for your upcoming interviews too! I plan my lessons based on the student's personal goals, and will always try to adapt my lessons to match each student's unique goals and aspirations. This adaptability I cannot wait to meet you and help you reach your learning goals!
