Hello! My name is Chantell and I currently am completing my teaching degree at the University of the Witwatersrand. I have experience teaching primary school children because of my practicals (work based learning) where I extend my efforts each time to volunteer as a student teacher in the secondary level. I am easily able to have academic progress in my classrooms through encouraging safe conversational spaces that are academically beneficial. My classes are student lead, having learners lead the direction, pace and interests of the lessons. The topics in the lesson are absolutely directed by student challenges and interests in the class.
