About me

I have taught both online and in the classroom in several countries over the years.

Hello! :) I am from Los Angeles, California. I have a Bachelor´s degree in Classical Philosophy from California State University and an English teaching certification from Oxford Seminars in New York City. I am currently learning Spanish online, so I can directly relate to the joys and difficulties of being an adult language learner. I have eight years of English teaching experience. I've taught English in the classroom in Mexico, Thailand, Cambodia and USA. I currently have students from at least ten different countries. While my general approach is relaxed and conversation based, I have a lot of experience in building customized lesson plans and teaching English grammar. My lessons and methods are modified in order to suit the needs of each student! I teach English because I love people, my love for humanity and passion for communication makes me a good teacher!
