Hi! My name is Lydia and I'm from Ireland. 😊 I'm a language-learning enthusiast and bilingual in English and Polish. I enjoy studying Latin and modern languages, and I'm also interested in etymology, linguistics and literature. Besides learning languages, my hobbies include baking, knitting, reading, writing and hiking with my family. I am a TEFL Institute of Ireland graduate with a Level 5 Diploma, specialising in Business English and online one-to-one teaching. I also hold certificates in TEFL methodologies, IELTS preparation and advanced grammar. 🧑‍🎓 I'm prepared to teach students of all ages and levels, utilising mostly though not exclusively the PPP (Presentation, Practice, Production) and Skills-Based methods for teaching, which are highly effective and which maximise the amount of time students speak in class. However, if you prefer a conversation-based class, need specific exam preparation or require assistance with tasks at work which you have to do in English, I'm willing to help. Bring in any materials you wish. I am a motivating, encouraging person, and I like listening to student needs and tailoring lessons and resources to address those needs. 🖐️
