About me

Online tutor, corporate trainer and author with more than eight years' experience.

Luvinska Golam Oogarah is an English and Communication tutor in both academic and business settings. She earned a Bachelor of Laws with honours from the University of Kent and a M.A in English Studies from the University of Sheffield, England. Following the completion of a TEFL license, Luvinska taught Business Communication to students through online courses and Business English to French expatriates from Swarovski. She then pursued her passion for language through post graduate studies and continued her journey as a secondary school teacher (both in English and French medium institutions). Luvinska’s dedication towards continuous learning and knowledge sharing eventually led her to step up into tertiary education as a full-time lecturer at Curtin University - Charles Telfair Institute. She taught Academic/ Business English and Mass Communication to both full time and part time students. After managing an ambitious project for the promotion of Drama on campus, she decided to strengthen her creative flair in writing a book to inspire tomorrow’s leaders and has today published two successful novels. Having experienced various modes of learning, Luvinska is passionate about sharing her insights in the communication sphere. Luvinska's teaching philosophy rest on respect of opinion for all and putting every student at ease.
