ENGLISH LESSONS WITH HIGHLY-QUALIFIED & EXPERIENCED PROFESSOR

EDUCATION Lucas Matías Calvo graduates as a Teacher of English as a Foreign Language at "Dr. Joaquín V. González" Teacher Training College, Buenos Aires. Furthermore, he earns a master's degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from Universidad del Salvador. In 2020, he finishes a postgraduate course in English Language. EXPERIENCE He has a professional teaching career of more than 20 years. He works at public and private schools, universities, companies and language schools. He also offers personalised lessons to private students. METHODOLOGY The teaching methodology is eclectic and it is selected according to the students' learning goals and their needs. I mainly work within a communicative, task-based approach. I focus on improving the students' oral and written production, as well as their reading and listening comprehension skills. The different students' learning profiles are taken into account in the lesson planning and the activities to be carried out in class. The lessons include a great variety of teaching materials, both for traditional and online teaching (textbooks, audio files, videos, songs, short stories, games and online exercises, news articles, comics, etc.). The material can be authentic or adapted to the student's level. The good quality and variety of the teaching materials make the lessons more entertaining and really effective. SPANISH COURSES All courses are designed according to the students' needs and interests. • Regular courses (up to 3 hrs./week) • Intensive courses (4-10 hrs./week) General Spanish| Spanish for specific purposes (work, studies, travelling, business) | Spanish for children | Conversation | Accent reduction | School work | National and international exam preparation (DELE) References available upon request.
