About me

Hi! My name is Luca and I'm a bilingual artist, creative director, and mentor. I've been running my own creative agency, magazine, and fashion line for over 5 years. Before that, I made music and taught it, as well as English and Italian as second languages, to hundreds of students. I taught myself English when I moved to London and wanted to be able to speak and write in English, so I decided to watch movies, TV shows, read books, and immerse myself in conversation as much as possible to develop the fastest way to learn the language. After months of hard work, I've done it, and now I can teach you. I use references from pop culture and everyday life and capitalize on your hobbies and interests to make the learning process easy and fun for my students (I can teach you conversation simply by listening to your favorite songs or watching your favorite movies). I didn't know anything beyond "hello" when I started, but now I'm a professional writer and mentor, having completed a Liberal Arts degree in the United States, which included complex subjects like philosophy, politics, and literature, and my ability to write theses and academic essays in those subjects. I have six years of experience teaching and tutoring, and I had to pass the TOFEL with a score of 98/100 to gain admission to my college in the United States.
