Hello. My name is Laverne. I am a native English speaker from South Africa. I am a fully qualified teacher with an Honours Degree in Inclusive Education. I have over 21 years of teaching experience. I've tutored English for many years, worked as a Homeschooling teacher as well as teaching English online.📚 I am a positive, motivating and happy person and I bring that personality into my teaching. 😊 My teaching is context and content based, using real life scenarios to make learning interesting and fun. When learning a language, it is important to keep you engaged in the lesson through learning about what interests you. I will specifically tailor the lessons according to your needs.👍 My teaching style is as follows : I will teach you new vocabulary and pronunciation. I will teach you writing skills using vocabulary taught and correct grammar. 📖 I will teach you reading skills which include word recognition, fluency, intonation and comprehension. 🤓 I will teach you how to speak English by using words that you have learned and correct grammar. 👌😁 I will also teach you to use conversational English in context. 🤾 🧑‍🦽 💃 I enjoy learning about new countries and experiences and would love to teach people from around the globe.
