My name is Laura and I am a student of Translation and Interpreting in the University of Salamanca, although this year I have been studying in the Université Libre de Bruxelles in Brussels. Thanks to my studies and my personal interest I count with a high level of Spanish, English and French, so I could be a teacher of either of those languages. I could help students that need to reinforce their level of the language for their school, high school or university courses, but also those who want to improve their competence of the language or pass official exams. I have passed Trinity, Cambridge, Alliance française and Escuela Oficial de Idiomas exams, that’s why I profoundly know the working and evaluation methods. I consider that the knowledge of a language goes beyond the books so I normally devote some time to grammar and vocabulary exercises and some other to speaking and listening activities. Moreover, I try to induce students to read or watch series in original version and create some amusing activities to help them to learn. I have mainly worked with Oxford and Cambridge in English, as well as Michael Vince’s grammar books and with Alliance française for French, although I can adapt myself to any other method or bring my books if necessary. When dealing with Spanish, I try to adapt my method to the pupil’s method in their courses, although I also bring exercises to have a close look to the areas that cause problems.
