Lame

Hello language learners! My name is Lame and I'm from Botswana, a country in southern Africa with a rich blend of cultures and diversity. I am a tremendously keen English and Science enthusiast and have received numerous recognition awards for my high performance in the English subject over the course of my high-school years. Under my belt, I hold a 120-hr TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate, which qualifies me to teach kids, teenagers, and adults. I am currently studying towards my Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences and Biotechnology in one of our local universities. Over the past 3 years I have engaged in secretary work, public speaking, and worked as a volunteer English and Integrated Science tutor to selected high school students in my local country. I am a very proactive young woman and I pride myself in possessing strong grammar and vocabulary skills, that I am strongly confident will foster a learning environment in my classroom. Additionally, owing to my culturally diverse background, I have cultural sensitivity and I'm empathetic. By virtue of my secretary and public speaking work, I am highly organized and I employ dynamic teaching approaches to accommodate the diverse learning needs of my students. I am also proficient in my use of online teaching platforms and tools.
