About me

Hello! My name is Kathleen and I have triple nationality (Portuguese, Swiss and Spanish) which allowed me to learn many languages as a young child and that have been used everyday in my professional life too! I would like to help you in your new adventure of learning a new language! I was a teacher in a private center for students (aged 6 to 15 years old) and I also gave private classes to foreign students (aged 6 to 60+ years old) who wanted to learn to speak the language in order to be able to communicate when moving to a new country. Together we will learn basic words, to help you get by in your daily life or when traveling, and also complete sentences to be able to communicate with and like native English speakers! We will learn in detail how to produce certain sounds that are made in English, such as: the, I, r, etc In no time, you will notice an incredible evolution and you will be able to understand what you hear on TV and read on the internet very quickly! Come learn and conquer this adventure!

Kathleen walks along with you, at your pace and level. She is very helpful and understanding of what you need and where you need to improve.

Kathleen is an amazing teacher - very kind, knowledgeable, and patient. She has a great command of the language (Portuguese in my case) and explains grammar and rules clearly and understandably. If something isn’t clear right away, it’s easy to ask her to explain again - you never feel uncomfortable doing so. Her lessons are so engaging that I swear we start the class and five minutes later it's already over!
