About me

I take a very practical approach to teaching Spanish, with a focus on conversation. If your goal is to become fluent, then I'm the tutor for you :) Even if you are starting out, you'll learn in the most natural and authentic way from the very beginning. Depending on your level, grammar and formality rules will be part of the process, but they're not the goal, they're just tools. In addition to being a tutor, I am a writer of fiction and nonfiction, a software developer, and a musician. I'm curious about everything and want to understand it all. That's probably why I can engage in conversation about any topic. I think this is my secret weapon when it comes to teaching, and at the same time, it's the reason why I love teaching, the reason why we'll rarely get bored. There's nothing like having *real* communication in a teaching session, it leads to quick learning because you won't realize you're learning while you're learning.
