Hello, my name is Jörg and I come from Freiburg, Germany. For many years, I ran a language school for international students who wanted to study in Germany. My students came from all over the world, and I organized German courses as well as cultural activities and excursions. This experience taught me how different every learner can be and how important it is to adapt the lessons to each student's individual needs and goals. I have also learned five foreign languages myself – Russian at school, English through an intensive course in London, Spanish with private lessons, Italian using audio courses, and Portuguese as a self-taught learner. Because I have experienced different ways of learning languages myself, I understand both the challenges and the rewarding moments that come with learning a new language. I know that there is no single method that works for everyone. That's why I adapt my lessons to your level, learning style, interests, and goals. Whether you want to improve your speaking skills, prepare for an exam, communicate more confidently at work, or simply feel more comfortable speaking German in everyday life, I will help you make steady progress and enjoy the learning process. In our first lesson, we will talk about your goals, your previous experience with German, and the areas you would like to improve. Together, we will create a learning plan that suits your needs, your interests, and the amount of time you can invest. I will show you effective ways to learn German and help you find a learning strategy that works for you. If you have already studied German, we will first activate and review what you already know and clarify any questions or uncertainties.
