My name is Javier Amores, and I hold a PhD cum laude in Communication Sciences from the University of Salamanca (Spain), with International Mention and an Extraordinary Award. My doctoral thesis received the award for the best doctoral thesis in Information and Communication Sciences in Spain in 2022. I am currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at the Faculty of Communications of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. My academic and teaching career has been developed at prestigious institutions in Spain, Italy, and now Chile. I have also delivered over 40 conferences, courses, and seminars at various universities and international congresses. My expertise combines advanced research in communication, new technologies, digital platforms and social networks, computational methods, and data analysis with a solid teaching vocation in areas such as public speaking, political communication, effective and persuasive communication, digital marketing, and the application of digital tools and artificial intelligence. My teaching approach is characterized by a personalized and professional focus, tailored to the specific needs and objectives of each student or professional. I offer structured, practical classes and coaching sessions with up-to-date content, designed to develop personal skills as well as for professional or academic application. I have recently arrived in Santiago and am enthusiastic about bringing my knowledge and experience to this new environment. I am passionate about teaching and supporting others in developing their communication skills, whether it is to speak in public with confidence, improve interpersonal communication, or apply new technologies such as artificial intelligence and data analysis in their academic or professional projects. I am a personable, patient, and dedicated educator who strives to create an environment of trust and motivation where each teaching session is a clear, enriching, and useful experience.
