Hello, my name is James. I'm currently studying undergraduate English at the University of London. Learning English is something that takes time and effort. Also, there may be many challenges and times when it’s hard. There may be times when it feels like it’s an uphill struggle. Studying English, though, can have many benefits, including in terms of business, academic studies, and leisure. One of the ways that I will approach teaching is to see where the person learning is currently at, and where they want to get to. Integrating learning English with business needs or leisure can be a helpful way of making the content of learning English more relevant or more enjoyable. At the start of the introduction, I mentioned some of the potential challenges. I think that I can offer encouragement to those who take classes with me to continue through those challenges to get to the benefits of learning English. Those benefits can include, but are not limited to, potential business and academic opportunities. They can also include a sense of achievement.
