I'm Isaac Kim from South Korea! Although my nationality is Korean, I have a Spanish name. How cool isn't it? So I know you'll be interested in me. I am also a student studying Spanish and Teaching Korean as a Foreign Language at KyungHee University (one of the best in Korea). I offer 3 main types of classes: ㉠: Initiative class to start walking first step of learning Korean. This way we will practice how we read the Korean letters (consonants and vowels) correcting the pronunciation, since it is very important that you have the precise pronunciation from the beginning so that the Koreans understand you without embarrassment. Many foreigners, even if they have studied over time, face a communication problem in the absence of this process. ㉡: Class that focuses on obtaining TOPIK certification. If you have already passed the language threshold, you will be interested in having TOPIK to come to South Korea as an exchange student or get a Working Holiday visa. I am well experienced in teaching about TOPIK 1 and 2 in an institute of immigrants and foreign workers in Korea. So I can share my strategy to get good grades on the exam. On the other hand, if you feel you are not ready for the exam yet, but rather you want to continue studying Korean according to your level of the language, welcome too! ㉢: Class to improve communication skills in Korean. Most students of Korean can read, listen, and write without great difficulty. On the contrary, the matter of communication is more difficult and students feel hopeless, because it feels useless to learn language if they can't communicate with Korean people. In this case, first you have to remove the nerves and shame of opening your mouth and making grammatical errors. Secondly, linguistic intervention by a good teacher is needed to speak spontaneously.
