I'm George, a 19 year old native speaker from the UK! I have studied English Language and Literature, completed a TEFL Certificate and volunteer at a language learning school. I will provide you with any English support you need! Having studied Spanish myself for 3 years, I know how difficult and daunting it can be to get your head around a non-native language! What makes me a different teacher? Firstly, my age! As you can see I'm only 18 and discovered that teaching was right for me when researching online, after deciding not to go to university! This gives me an incredible level of relatability to any of you young adults! Other than this, I aim to create a friend-to-friend dynamic rather than a teacher-to-student as I find it a lot more comfortable. I'm sure you will too! I will help you in any way to achieve your English language learning goals, but here are a few examples: Conversational Skills - A calm and friendly environment to practice your English conversational skills with a native English Speaker. We can cover any topic or theme - you choose! Writing Support - I will feedback and proofread any work you may have written to ensure it is as accurate as possible. This will be done in a constructive and friendly way, giving you clear instructions on how to improve. If you just want general help with writing in English, I would be more than happy to support you! Grammar, Vocabulary and Phonetics Help - Need a 'guiding hand' when trying to get your head around English grammar, vocab and phonetics? Look no further! I will be that 'guiding hand' that I know I needed when studying Spanish! Informal English - So, you don't want to speak 'Formal English' when casually communicating with your friends or family? Makes complete sense and nor would I! Informal English is more personal, casual and spontaneous and really important when trying to become a fully-rounded English speaker. Moving away from teaching, I love fitness - gym, running, rowing, cycling and have 3 dogs that need constant walking. I also take flying lessons (very expensive) and enjoy frequent trips down to Spain and Portugal for some much needed sun!
