About me

English tutor with background in Business, Environmental Studies and Conversation.

Hello! I'm Gary. I'm a native English speaker born and raised in South Africa. I originally qualified in small business management and game ranch management; I have also completed my TEFL certification to teach English as a second language. I speak three languages so I can identify with the challenges of learning an additional language. I have been involved in agriculture for many years. I recently worked for a number of years in New Zealand as a production manager in various fields. Teaching and motivating people to become their best in their specific sectors and assisting them in improving their productivity. I have also been involved in the hospitality industry, accommodating and guiding foreign tourists in South Africa and neighbouring countries It has been my pleasure to teach people of all ages and cultures in a variety of fields. What can you expect from a lesson with me? You can expect classes with a strong focus on students expanding their range of vocabulary and improving their pronunciation. Lessons are tailor-made to the individual student’s interests and specific requirements. I want to help students achieve their individual goals whether that be speaking more fluently, learning new vocabulary, or learning business English.
