About me

My name is Frida and I am from Los Angeles, California. I am 24 years old and I have been working with kids for 5 years now. The first three years I was a teacher assistant at an elementary school in which my main role was to support the students that need a little extra reinforcement in a particular school subject. Coming to Madrid, I began working at a bilingual school while teaching private classes. My student's ages range from 3 to 13 years old so I have experience with different age groups. My teaching method is focused on repetition with the younger kids. I like to use lots of games, songs, and activities that will meet the same goal. With older kids, I try to do something different in every session but meeting the same goal, that way they do no get bored. I like to do different things for the reason being that a lot of times my students are coming from school to the english class so they are already tired and I do not want them to feel pressured or stressed into doing "another class". I want them to look forward to it each time.
