About me

English tutor with 4 years of experience to help you get confident in a new language.

Hi there! My name is Favour, and I’m a passionate and dedicated English tutor with a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature. I specialize in helping students build strong communication skills, boost confidence, and achieve real academic success. My teaching style is interactive, student-centered, and practical. I like to create monthly goals with my students which we usually document to track progress. I don’t just teach English—I make sure my students use it. Your very first word, sentence, conversation and even joke matters to keep you motivated. Through engaging conversations, personalized lessons, and real-life examples, I help learners truly understand and apply what they learn. I also focus on critical thinking and independent learning, so my students don’t have to rely on tools like ChatGPT all the time —they become confident enough to express their own ideas clearly, make the their own mistakes and learn from corrections. Whether you want to improve your grammar, speaking, writing, or exam performance, I’m here to guide you every step of the way in a fun, supportive, and results-driven environment. Let’s work together to unlock your full potential in English. See you in class!
