About me

I am a TEFL certified English teacher and qualified in the Spanish equivalent of first year university maths, biology, and physics. My family moved from Spain to England before my mother was born and I was raised in England ( my father is also English). I have around 4 years teaching experience and worked teaching maths and reading to disabled children. This taught me to be a very calm, patient and effective teacher. Earlier this year I qualified as an English teacher here in Madrid.

She is a very nice person and she explains things that I don’t understand very well and very clearly. Furthermore she is also a very calm and patient teacher and will always offer extra help when asked. She is a very good and patient teacher as she doesn’t mind if she has to explain something many times.

I have always really struggled with maths and it has been an area in which I have lacked confidence. I found Ella's tutoring extremely helpful as her teaching style was patient and calm which made the lessons feel less daunting. Through a meticulously well structured series of lessons we were able to cover a huge amount of content which I would never have attempted to approach by myself. Furthermore, despite moving through content quickly, Ella endured the pace of learning was supported by homework tasks which cemented my progress. Through this I was able to achieve an A* in gcse maths and therefore progress to a level maths.
