Qualified instructor with a master’s degree in Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE).
Hi! I'm Cristina, a languages teacher with over a decade of experience and a genuine passion for teaching that goes far beyond textbooks.
I studied French Studies and went on to specialise with a Master's in Legal and Economic Translation (French-Spanish), a Master's in Secondary and High School Education, and a Master's in Spanish as a Foreign Language. But what truly defines me as a teacher is everything I've learned both inside and outside the classroom: courses in ICT, Emotional Intelligence in Education, and High Abilities, because I truly believe that teaching well means understanding the person in front of you.
Over the years I've worked in language schools, secondary schools, and giving private lessons, which has given me a real insight into the needs of students of all levels and ages. Everyone learns differently, and I love finding the right approach for each student so that learning feels natural, pressure-free and genuinely effective.
I'm Andalusian, and that's something I can turn into an advantage for you. If you've ever felt lost hearing our accent, our expressions or local turns of phrase, with me you'll get to understand them first-hand and learn to navigate real-world Spanish — the kind that doesn't always appear in textbooks.
My classes are dynamic, friendly and with a touch of humour, because learning a language should be an exciting experience, not a chore. And if you have a specific goal in mind — whether it's passing an exam, improving at work, preparing for a trip, or simply gaining confidence when speaking — we can tailor the classes entirely around what you want to achieve. Your goal is my goal too.
I hold a C1 in English, a C1 in French and a B1 level in German, so I know first-hand what it feels like to face a new language and how to support that journey with empathy and experience.
If you're looking for someone who is truly committed to your progress, I'd love to help. 🌟
