About me

Friendly, experienced English teacher with software and business knowledge.

Hi, I'm Conor. I've been teaching English for ten years. I have taught young people and adults both online and in person. Both one-to-one lessons and group lessons. Before teaching I worked in IT and have experience of working for both large corporations and small companies. I still do occasional work for software companies - mainly writing articles. I have a detailed knowledge of software and the software industry in general. I've taught students at various levels mainly intermediate (B1 to B2 levels) and proficient (C1) and have helped several students achieve success in formal exams including IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge FCE and Cambridge CAE (a recent student took this exam and was awarded a C2 grade) I aim to use a range of materials in lessons - from magazine and newspaper articles to you tube videos and movie scenes, Hope to see you soon!
