Hi! I’m Clara 😊 I’m from Spain, I’m a qualified Primary School Teacher and I’m also a Spanish teacher. Spanish is my native language, and alongside my teaching degree, I have specific training in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE). I love teaching Spanish and helping my students go from “I understand some Spanish” to “I can actually speak Spanish!”. My lessons are friendly, dynamic and adapted to each student, because we all learn differently and have different goals. Whether you’re starting from scratch or you already have an advanced level and want to take it further, I can help you. We can work on conversation, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and comprehension, as well as Spanish for travelling, living in Spain or simply feeling more comfortable using Spanish in your everyday life. I also really enjoy working with children and teenagers, adapting activities to their age and level and making Spanish something fun and engaging. I don’t believe learning a language should mean memorising endless lists of vocabulary or spending an entire lesson doing grammar exercises. I like using conversations, real-life situations, games and different activities that help you understand and actually use Spanish outside the classroom. And one thing is really important to me: you don’t have to speak perfectly to start speaking. You can make mistakes, ask questions and try again as many times as you need.
