My English classes are designed to be dynamic, meaningful, and student-centered, fostering active and progressive learning. I work under a communicative approach, where the language is learned by using it in real-life contexts close to the students’ daily experiences, promoting confidence to express themselves from the very first lessons.
The methodology I follow combines structure and flexibility. Each lesson has clear objectives, but it is adapted to the pace, interests, and needs of the class. I integrate the four language skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—in a balanced way, using a variety of resources such as audiovisual materials, educational games, collaborative work, songs, short readings, and practical activities. This approach keeps motivation high and accommodates different learning styles.
The classroom dynamic is based on a respectful, supportive, and participatory environment, where mistakes are understood as a natural part of the learning process. I aim for students to feel confident to ask questions, share opinions, and make errors without fear, strengthening both their language skills and academic self-esteem.
I have four years of teaching experience, working with students of different levels and educational contexts. Although my training is in secondary education, I have been trained to work with all levels, which allows me to adjust strategies and content according to the students’ developmental stage.
My main goal is for my students not only to learn English, but also to develop communication skills useful for their academic, professional, and personal future, while enjoying the learning process and valuing the language as an opportunity for growth.
