Hi, I'm Carly, a native of California (USA) and a certified English teacher with a degree in English and international journalism and extensive experience in education. I have taught for 8 years and use the communicative method to prepare my students to use English in real-life situations. I currently teach English as a foreign language to teenagers in a school in Barcelona and give private lessons to clients of all levels. I offer online and face-to-face classes (for Barcelona locals) that are tailored to your needs, whether you want to learn more and improve your English level, speak more fluently and confidently, or simply practice with a native speaker. I help students who need extra support and I also offer Business English classes for adults who want to improve their communication skills and prepare for job interviews. I currently work with students aged 9-60. I incorporate games and conversations into my classes to help students practice speaking and communicate with confidence.
