About me

Hi! I’m Carla, a Spanish native who lived in the United States for 4 years. I know firsthand what it takes to go from learning English in a classroom to actually living it every day — navigating university, making friends, working, playing basketball, and thinking in a language that wasn’t my own. That experience completely changed how I understand language learning. It’s not just about grammar rules or vocabulary lists. It’s about feeling confident enough to speak without overthinking every word. That’s exactly what I focus on in my classes. Whether you’re a complete beginner or someone who already has a base but wants to sound more natural and fluent, I’ll tailor every session to where you are and where you want to go. We can work on everyday conversation, pronunciation, listening comprehension, writing, or exam preparation — whatever fits your goals best. I’ve also worked as a tutor, so I know how to explain things clearly, spot where you’re getting stuck, and find the approach that works for you specifically. Learning a language should feel like progress, not pressure. Let’s make it happen! 😊
