As a positive and enthusiastic person, I approach life with enthusiasm. I love my job and I get a great sense of achievement from seeing my students develop and grow as individuals. I feel my job is well done if I can make a positive difference in their future. My ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and to plan and organize effectively are crucial to my role as a competent teacher. As a teacher, I am well versed in dealing with pressure and can adapt my style or teaching methods as needed, ensuring consistent results. I am someone who always implements effective behavior management processes in the classroom and strive myself on an ability to continually develop both personally and professional. I am passionate about creating positive learning environments for all students and am constantly in pursuit of bettering myself. My teaching experience consists of over 4 years in the field, both in college and high school settings. I have been a certified teacher for the past four years . My teaching methodology is student-centered and incorporates multiple learning modalities to ensure that all students are engaged and successful. I use inquiry based learning, hands-on activities, group work, technology integration, and cooperative learning to bring relevant material to life for my students. Additionally, I believe that creating an environment of respect is essential in any classroom setting; therefore, I strive to create an inclusive culture where every student feels safe to express themselves without judgement or fear of failure. To further enhance my classroom environment, I use activities such as project-based learning and peer-to-peer instruction to ensure that students can work collaboratively in a fun and engaging way.
