Hi there. My name is Barry. I am a full-time guitar tutor with over 30 years guitar playing experience and 24 years teaching experience. I also have experience with performing live and recording professionally in studio. I hope to unlock the potential and passion of my students in a self-paced and enjoyable way. I work on developing my students’ technical proficiency and inspire their musical creativity with a new and innovative approach to learning to play the guitar online. I strive to encourage, inspire, motivate and support in a nurturing, safe, yet fun-filled online environment, designed for all ages and levels of guitar skills. I enjoy all genres of music and am able to teach most styles. I have years of experience tutoring children from as young as 6 years old right up to ladies and gents in their 70's. I teach acoustic, classical and electric guitar players! Beginners to Advanced skill levels welcome! My teaching methodology : - for those that prefer a structured approach, a step for step guided plan/book is followed, and for those that prefer a less structured but more self goal based way of learning to play; we will focus more on your set goals and topics of interest.
