Hello! My name is Balkis, and I’m an English tutor based in the United Kingdom. I have over six years of informal experience helping people of different ages improve their English, particularly children and young learners. My lessons are friendly, patient and adapted to each student’s individual level and goals. I can help students improve their conversation skills, vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, reading comprehension and everyday English. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable speaking and are not afraid of making mistakes. During my lessons, I encourage students to speak as much as possible while providing supportive corrections and clear explanations. For younger learners, I aim to keep lessons engaging, encouraging and appropriate for their age. Every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons according to their ability, interests and areas they would like to improve. Whether you are a beginner building your foundations or want to become more confident speaking English, I would be happy to help you progress. I look forward to meeting you!
