About me

Hi everyone, my name is Arianna and I am currently studying biology at university. I was born in New York from an Italian family and as a result I speak both English and Italian fluently. I offer individual conversation lessons suitable for any level of English proficiency, whether in preparation for exams, job interviews or even simply to improve your communication skills in the language. Do you need to take a vacation abroad but fear that you won't be able to speak correctly? Few things will help you more than a bit of practice in conversation :) I structure the lessons by focusing on the individual student's goal, taking into consideration specific topics and if needed preparation and personal interests of each one so that the lesson is not only productive but also engaging and fun. In my years of residence in Italy I have always noticed an almost excessive focus on grammar and written exercises (often unfortunately based on a purely mnemonic preparation) and a lack of exercises on conversational practice, a skill that I think is fundamental to be able to master in today's globalized world.
