My name is André and I am currently studying for a Master's degree in Controlling, Economics and International Management. My plan for the past few years was to finish my Master's degree with a semester abroad in China. After focusing on a longer stay in China, I prepared myself intensively for the time in the "Middle Kingdom" and brought my Mandarin language level up to B1. I would have combined the semester abroad with a job as a youth football coach (within the framework of German-Chinese cooperation). However, the Corona pandemic came into all of our lives and I had to change my plans. Due to the fact that I had already quit my job, I was looking for new challenges in a timely manner. However, my intrinsic motivation, before finishing my Master's degree and fully entering professional life, did not allow for a permanent stay in Germany. The step abroad was necessary, which is why I started my world trip in Costa Rica and spent the past 18 months travelling in various countries. Now, however, the focus is on completing my pending Master's thesis on the Chinese economic stimulus programme "Made in China 2025". During my time abroad, in addition to building my intercultural skills and learning about foreign cultures, I have also expanded my professional experience in a variety of fields. I have expanded my portfolio of services to include animal care (Rescue Centre: <450 dogs, 350 cats), hotel management, farming, KungFu, TaiChi, working on a boat and teaching English to children. I have also gained past experience in sales, hospitality, marketing, distribution, media and data analysis, project management, as an executive assistant, editorial work and high-level football coaching in a junior performance centre and talent scouting. I design my course according to your wishes, demands and concerns. We discuss in advance what goals you are pursuing and how you have learned so far. It is important to me that we reach your goals together. It doesn't matter whether you take the tutoring sessions alongside the school material and we review and supplement the material together, or whether you have problems in a subject and I help you to take the necessary steps to find the appropriate introduction to the material. The focus of my tutoring sessions is on giving you sustainable access to the topics. In doing so, I pay attention to how the learning progress can be ensured in the best possible way. Both in my work as a football coach and in teaching English in Panama, I have celebrated corresponding successes with a wide range of age groups. Furthermore, in my professional activities, but also when travelling to the most diverse countries of the world, I have repeatedly received positive feedback for my empathetic behaviour and my good knowledge transfer. Both in my studies and in my professional life, I have become acquainted with different scientific approaches to imparting knowledge. In combination with my personal experiences and in direct exchange with you, we will find the appropriate way to make positive progress.
