My name is Almudena and I have a degree in History from the Autonomous University of Madrid, a postgraduate degree from the Complutense University of Madrid (Master's Degree in Teacher Training for ESO and Baccalaureate, specializing in Geography, History and Art History) and in possession of the Qualification Course for the Teaching of Geography and History.
I have a high interest in guiding my professional career to the world of teaching, for which I feel a great passion, and applying in the classrooms the knowledge learned throughout my solid formative stage, which is still ongoing. This passion starts from my university years when I realized that many teachers limit themselves to teaching the content of the book without making an effort for the student to enjoy it during the process, which I consider essential so that they can use the bases they learn in childhood and youth and become people with their own criteria.
I have continuous work experience of three years, in the classroom, and five years in a consulting firm as a member of the training department. In addition, I am in possession of other qualities such as that I work very well in a team, I am dynamic and I am always open to challenges and improvements, I manage large volumes of information quickly, among other skills. On a personal basis, I consider myself passionate, fair, rigorous, organized and that I connect easily with young people.
Regarding languages and mastery of new technologies, I have knowledge of spoken and written English (I am currently preparing the C1 exam, but I have a B2 demonstrable by the Cambridge system), in addition to handling useful computer programs in classrooms such as the Office package . Lately I have gained experience in search engines, always useful to complete the education and make it more practical, accessible and interactive.
